Through my time as a fly shop manager, I met many great local anglers with private access to trout and largemouth waters. These fisheries are perfect to teach the fundamentals of fly fishing while enjoying catching some fish. The private trout waters feature a meandering small creek with larger pools targeting trout on the dry fly. For anglers looking to bass fish, access to private ponds are pure enjoyment catching largemouth in the 1-5lb range.
